HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER /Job # G100
Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of Human Resources
activity for a 75-100 person company.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations
affecting Human Resources functions and ensure policies, procedures
and reporting are in compliance.
- Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel
and temporary employees.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive
attitude toward company goals.
- Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, termination,
promotions, performance review, safety and sexual harassment.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations
issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
- Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness,
compliance, and equity within organization.
- Administers benefit programs such as life, health, dental, 401k
plan, vacation, leave of absence, etc.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect
continual improvements in efficiency of department and services
performed.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation, personnel transactions,
tuition reimbursement and employee statistics for government reporting.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation,
and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism
and turnover.
- Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
- Participates in HR related meetings, training and seminars.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Desired Skills
- 6+ years Human Resources Generalist experience
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Personal leadership skills
- Familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations
- MAS 90 payroll system experience
- Internet Skills
