Standard Calibrations, Inc. has been organized to satisfy the needs of the customer and regulatory authorities and to exceed the requirements of the international standards ISO 17025:2005(E) and ISO 9001:2000. Standard Calibrations, Inc. is composed of the following departments:

- QUALITY DEPARTMENT
- METROLOGY DEPARTMENT
- OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
- MARINE SERVICE DEPARTMENT
- SALES DEPARTMENT
To ensure confidence in all operations at Standard Calibrations Inc. a formal quality assurance program is implemented. Technical competence is ensured through Quality Procedure 5.9. Impartiality is assessed through audits and approvals. Standard Calibrations is independently assessed and accredited to ISO 9001:2000 by National Quality Assurance (NQA), to ISO 17025;2005(E) by International Accreditation Service (IAS) and to NAVSEA 04-4734A by the Joint Naval Accreditation and Certification Team (JNACT). Judgment is ensured through the hiring of qualified personnel and by continuously refining, upgrading, and improving his or her skills. Operational integrity is reviewed by management on a regular basis to ensure continued suitability and effectiveness of company policies and procedures. Any problems are acted on immediately through corrective action procedures.
Our Quality System encompasses the controls necessary for qualified personnel to perform all tasks in accordance with ISO 9001:2000, ISO 17025:2005(E), ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, NAVSEA 04-4734A, 10CFR50 Appendix B and contractual requirements. This quality management system provides for activities affecting quality to be achieved under controlled conditions and it takes into account the need for standards, measurement and test equipment, tools, and skills to achieve the required quality.
